1910's FIELD NURSE

1910's Field Nurse -- Saluting the nurses who traveled to remote areas of the world
during the 1910s, this outfit features a light blue oxford cloth dress with zipper
closure in back, and cinched cuffs with snaps. A placket with buttons runs down the
bodice front, from collar to waist. The apron has a full pinafore bodice with hooks
and eyes in back. The deeply pleated skirt flows out from a cinched waistband.
On the apron breast is an embroidered insignia. The unstarched pith-style cap
with embroidered insignia offers sun protection and folds flat for storage.

19th CENTURY NURSE

19th Century Nurse -- Inspired by Florence Nightingale, pioneer of modern nursing.
This ankle length deep blue chambray dress has white collar and cuffs plus a full skirt.
Zips in back. Detachable armband with embroidered insignia closes with hook and eye.
Starched buchram cap has a knife pleated trim with a dark outer band.
Ankle length white on white striped apron attaches with a gold bead at each
breast and ties in back. High fashion stethescope completes the look.

WWII 1940's NURSE

WWII 1940's Nurse -- In the 1940s, style was prerequisite, even in the design of
utilitarian clothing. Pintucked bodice, a tailored pocket, and a fully lined cape provide
an appropriate tribute to this era in nursing.
